The products described here are designed and manufactured in-house in the UK. They are aimed very directly at time-trialists and triathletes who just want to go as fast as they can on their bikes within the rules which govern their discipline.

Extensive use is made during the design process of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to optimise strength, weight and aerodynamics. All designs are then extensively road tested and, where mentioned, wind-tunnel tested.

A number of our products can be purchased online, using Paypal. These are generally components which are familiar and compatible with existing bikes.
Many other RALTech products do not lend themselves to simple online ordering, since they may be radically different or incompatible with existing components. In these cases, it is very much preferable to discuss your requirements and any customisation before deciding what you want to buy. You can contact us via e-mail or look out for the RALTech van at various time-trial events throughout the season.

Different organisations have different ideas as to what cycling equipment is acceptable. The UCI (Union Cyclisme Internationale), for example, has some very strict technical regulations, which, while they are rarely changed, are often 're-interpreted'. CTT (Cycling Time-Trials) in the UK has simpler regulations, which allow more scope for innovation.
